A central figure in SGHR’s production for over half a century, Mamoru Tsukamoto has dedicated his career to the art of glassmaking. With deep respect for the material, he approaches each piece with care, bringing out the natural beauty of glass through his craftsmanship.

He is best known for designing the “THREE TYPES OF BUBBLES” series, inspired by the mysterious, upward movement of bubbles. In addition to mold-blown techniques, he is also highly skilled in free-blown glassmaking, creating signature works such as the KAWA Plate and KANA series.
